The Sennebogen 653R is a telescopic crawler crane with a lifting capacity of 50 tonnes. Sennebogen calls it ‘the powerhouse’: a compact crane that works just as well on a tight site as on a large construction project. The 653R is part of Van Haut’s range of telescopic cranes and is the ideal crane for anyone who needs to move loads, not just lift them.
At the heart of the crane is the Full-Power boom. It telescopes continuously up to 30.4 metres and keeps telescoping under load, at any length, safely controlled by joystick. With a 6.5 or 13 metre fly jib you reach a boom length of up to 43.3 metres. The telescopic crawler undercarriage gives the crane stability on soft and uneven ground and makes Pick & Carry possible: the 653R picks up a load and drives it to where it is needed.
The 653R is built for contractors in civil engineering, road construction and bridge building, for precast builders and for industrial assembly. Sennebogen deploys it mainly in bridge construction and civil works, where loads have to be moved across uneven terrain. Because the crane travels fully assembled, it is also a good choice for companies that change sites often.

The 50-tonne capacity applies at short radius. The further the boom extends, the lower the load the crane can lift safely, as shown in the load chart. The Pick & Carry value tells you which load the crane can move while travelling: 38 tonnes at a 4 metre radius. Stage V is the strictest European emission standard for construction machinery.
