What is the Lissmac MBS band saw for aerated concrete?

The Lissmac MBS is a masonry band saw, specially made for aerated concrete and bricks such as Poroton. An automatic tensioner keeps the saw belt at the right tension at all times: this gives accurate cuts, less risk of belt breakage and a longer service life. At the end of the cut, the motor switches off automatically.

The saw belt wheels are directly driven, which limits maintenance, and a large opening in the lower housing lets dust out easily. You change the saw belt with one hand movement. With the wheel set, one person moves the machine around the site.

Who is the Lissmac MBS for?

The MBS saws are made for bricklayers and shell construction contractors working with aerated concrete and bricks who want to cut blocks to size quickly and with little dust, without water.

What do these specifications mean?

The blade diameter or cutting height determines how thick a block you can cut in one pass. The cutting length is the longest cut the machine allows. Also check the connection: a 230 V machine works on a standard socket, for 400 V you need a site distribution box.
