The ZB and ZBV are site circular saws from German manufacturer Avola, which has been building machines for over 175 years. They comply with standard EN 1870-19 and Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. Avola’s safety hood demonstrably reduces accidents and won the EURO test prize of the European builders’ trade associations. On the ZBV, the cutting height is adjustable.
The hot-dip galvanised frame does not distort, and a powerful motor with magnetic brake stops the blade in under 10 seconds. A motor protection switch protects against overload, and after a power failure a no-volt release prevents the machine from restarting by itself. A table extension, cross-cut fence, rip fence, ruler and four lifting eyes come as standard.
The ZB and ZBV saws are made for carpenters, shell construction contractors, formwork crews and rental companies that cut a lot of timber, formwork panels and beams to size on site and put safety first.

The blade diameter determines the cutting height: the larger the blade, the thicker the timber you cut in one pass. Motor power is given as input and output power. Also check the connection: 230 V works on a standard socket, for 400 V you need a site distribution box.
