What is the rubber grommet ring?

The 3ablock rubber grommet ring belongs to the 2.5 tonne lifting anchor. You place it around the anchor, against the magnet, so it seals the space around the anchor during casting.

This prevents concrete from running into the recess around the anchor head, so the lifting clutch later fits without chipping or cleaning.
