What is the 3ablock Top concrete block mould?

With the 3ablock Top concrete block mould, you cast concrete blocks with a roof shape, intended as the top layer of a wall. Thanks to the sloping sides, nobody can walk or stand on the wall, without extra signage. And when you pour sand, gravel or other loose material into a storage bay from above, nothing stays on top of the wall.

The Top comes in lengths of 150, 160 and 180 cm, in different widths and heights, so it fits onto the standard blocks below. Like all 3ablock moulds, it is made of steel in a European factory for intensive use: with frequent use, a mould lasts at least 10 years. With the recesses underneath, the block fits onto the standard blocks of the same size.

The Top is made for producers offering complete storage bays and retaining walls, and for recycling, agricultural and construction companies that store bulk material and want to keep their walls safe and clean.

What do these specifications mean?

The size of the mould determines the size and weight of the block. A 160 x 80 x 80 cm block weighs about 2.4 tonnes, so plan for a telehandler or crane with sufficient lifting capacity. The weight of the mould itself counts when you move or tilt it. If you combine different shapes of the same size, the blocks fit together perfectly.
