What is the 3ablock Standard concrete block mould?

With the 3ablock Standard concrete block mould, you cast solid concrete blocks with studs on top and recesses underneath, so the blocks fit together like building bricks. You stack them without mortar into retaining walls, storage bays or partition walls, and you can move and reuse them later.

The Standard is the basic mould in the 3ablock range and comes in 15 sizes, from 120 x 30 x 30 cm to 240 x 80 x 80 cm. The most popular size is 160 x 80 x 80 cm: that block has a volume of approx. 1.02 m³ and weighs approx. 2,400 kg. The mould itself is made of steel for daily use and is often filled with leftover concrete. This turns concrete that would otherwise be wasted into a product you can sell or use yourself.

Who is this concrete block mould for?

The concrete block mould is made for ready-mix and precast plants that want to add value to leftover concrete, for contractors who build their own retaining walls and storage bays, and for agricultural and recycling companies that need strong, movable walls. Beginners often combine the Standard with top and half blocks of the same size.

Technical specifications of the Standard concrete block mould

The Standard concrete block mould is available in these sizes (length x width x height):

  • 120 x 60 x 60 cm
  • 150 x 60 x 60 cm, 150 x 30 x 60 cm, 150 x 60 x 30 cm and 150 x 30 x 30 cm
  • 160 x 80 x 80 cm, 160 x 40 x 80 cm, 160 x 80 x 40 cm and 160 x 40 x 40 cm
  • 180 x 60 x 60 cm, 180 x 30 x 60 cm, 180 x 60 x 30 cm and 180 x 30 x 30 cm
  • 240 x 80 x 80 cm and 240 x 60 x 60 cm
  • Block 160 x 80 x 80 cm: volume approx. 1.02 m³, weight approx. 2,400 kg
  • Steel mould with studs and recesses for a stackable connection

What do these specifications mean?

The size of the mould determines the size and weight of the block. A 160 x 80 x 80 cm block weighs about 2.4 tonnes, so plan for a telehandler or crane with sufficient lifting capacity. If you choose several sizes within the same series, for example 160 x 80 x 80 and 160 x 40 x 80 cm, you can stack in a staggered bond and create corners and finishes.

Benefits of the 3ablock concrete block mould

With your own concrete block mould, you get more out of your concrete:

  • Add value to leftover concrete: surplus concrete becomes a saleable product.
  • Stackable without mortar: studs and recesses keep the blocks in place.
  • Reusable: take walls down and rebuild them elsewhere.
  • 15 sizes: from small blocks to heavy 240 cm blocks.
  • Robust: steel moulds for intensive daily use.

How much does a concrete block mould cost?

We do not publish prices online. Every request is handled personally, because the configuration, options and delivery differ from project to project. This way you receive a quotation that truly fits your work.

What determines the price?

The price of a concrete block mould depends on the size, the number of moulds and the accessories, such as lifting anchors, dividers or a turning beam. Transport and lead time also play a role. We are happy to advise which combination of sizes best suits your production.
