Not every project fits a standard size. That is why 3ablock also develops custom moulds, matched to the shape and dimensions your project requires. One example is this 238 x 75 x 120 cm mould, with which you cast heavy concrete elements of about 2.14 m³ and approx. 5.1 tonnes.
Such large elements are used for heavy retaining walls, screens, bank protection and temporary or permanent closures. Moulds also exist for other shapes, such as a T-shape or dragon’s teeth, and we are happy to discuss new custom moulds with you. Like all 3ablock moulds, it is made of steel in a European factory for intensive use: with frequent use, a mould lasts at least 10 years.
Custom moulds are intended for precast companies, ready-mix plants and contractors with a specific project or a recurring demand for a non-standard shape, from infrastructure to industry and public space.

The size of the mould determines the size and weight of the block. A 160 x 80 x 80 cm block weighs about 2.4 tonnes, so plan for a telehandler or crane with sufficient lifting capacity. The weight of the mould itself counts when you move or tilt it. If you combine different shapes of the same size, the blocks fit together perfectly.
