What is the WG 3D 16 stirrup bender?

The WG 3D 16 is an automatic stirrup bender from TJK Serecon that bends not only in one plane but also in 3D. It processes coiled rebar with wire up to Ø16 mm and produces stirrups and complex shapes in different planes, in one continuous process.

Its multi-axis 3D bending technology creates spatial shapes that a conventional stirrup bender cannot bend. Special feed rollers with electric servomotors ensure precise feeding, and the bi-directional bending system prevents collisions at high speed. The working plane can be adjusted between 90° and 135°.

If you do not need 3D shapes, the WG16 offers the same wire capacity in a conventional version.

Who is the WG 3D 16 for?

The WG 3D 16 is made for companies that process large numbers of stirrups and bent bars every day, such as rebar processing plants, rebar fixing companies and precast manufacturers. Stirrups form the transverse reinforcement of beams, columns and ground beams and appear in almost every concrete project. Because the machine works straight from the coil, no separate cutting or straightening step is needed and offcut waste stays low. That makes a stirrup bender worthwhile as soon as volumes become too large for manual bending.

Technical specifications of the WG 3D 16

The WG 3D 16 processes single wire from Ø6 to Ø16 mm and double wire from Ø6 to Ø12 mm. In the plane it bends up to ±180°, in 3D from 0° to 180°. Bending speed is 1200°/sec in the plane and 300°/sec in 3D, and the maximum pulling speed is 130 m/min. The diagonal reaches up to 2450 mm and average consumption is around 9 kWh. All details are in the Technical specifications table on this page.

What do these specifications mean?

Single wire is the diameter the machine processes at a time; with double wire two wires are bent simultaneously, which increases output at smaller diameters. The pulling speed determines how fast the wire runs through the machine, the bending speed how fast a bend is formed. Together they determine output per hour. The maximum diagonal indicates how large a stirrup can be, and average consumption helps estimate energy costs.

Benefits of the WG 3D 16 stirrup bender

The WG 3D 16 opens the door to spatial reinforcement shapes:

  • 3D bending: stirrups and complex shapes in different planes.
  • Wire up to Ø16 mm: and double wire up to Ø12 mm.
  • Bi-directional bending system: bending in both directions without collisions.
  • Independent cutting module: with 4-sided blades.
  • Ready for your workflow: graphic library, connection to external software and compatible with an optical barcode reader.

How much does the WG 3D 16 stirrup bender cost?

We do not publish prices online. Every request is handled personally, because the configuration, options and delivery of the WG 3D 16 stirrup bender differ from project to project. This way you receive a quotation that truly fits your production.

What determines the price?

The price of the WG 3D 16 stirrup bender depends among other things on the chosen version, the options and software, transport to your site and lead time. How the machine fits into your existing production also plays a role. That is why we assess every request individually and prepare a quotation that fits your production and planning.
