What is the WG 16 F2 stirrup bender?

The WG 16 F2 is the larger processing centre from coil in TJK Serecon’s WG range. It straightens, cuts and bends rebar from Ø6 to Ø16 mm and produces large stirrups, with 2 wires up to Ø12 mm. This machine can also double-bend the shapes at both ends.

In addition to the 1000 mm support channel and the bridge-type structure for collection systems, the F2 features a Bar Fixing System for coplanar bars. That makes it aimed at rebar plants processing large volumes of straightened, cut and bent bars and stirrups from coil.

For wire up to Ø13 mm there is the WG 12 F1. If you are mainly looking for a stirrup bender for large stirrups, also consider the WG16.

Who is the WG 16 F2 for?

The WG 16 F2 is made for companies that process large numbers of stirrups and bent bars every day, such as rebar processing plants, rebar fixing companies and precast manufacturers. Stirrups form the transverse reinforcement of beams, columns and ground beams and appear in almost every concrete project. Because the machine works straight from the coil, no separate cutting or straightening step is needed and offcut waste stays low. That makes a stirrup bender worthwhile as soon as volumes become too large for manual bending.

Technical specifications of the WG 16 F2

The WG 16 F2 processes single wire from Ø6 to Ø16 mm and double wire from Ø6 to Ø12 mm. The maximum pulling speed is 130 m/min, the bending speed goes up to 1200°/sec and the maximum bending angle is 180° in both directions. The diagonal reaches up to 2350 mm and average consumption is around 9 kWh. All values are in the Technical specifications table on this page.

What do these specifications mean?

Single wire is the diameter the machine processes at a time; with double wire two wires are bent simultaneously, which increases output at smaller diameters. The pulling speed determines how fast the wire runs through the machine, the bending speed how fast a bend is formed. Together they determine output per hour. The maximum diagonal indicates how large a stirrup can be, and average consumption helps estimate energy costs.

Benefits of the WG 16 F2 stirrup bender

The WG 16 F2 is made for volume and heavier wire:

  • Wire from Ø6 to Ø16 mm: and 2 wires at once up to Ø12 mm.
  • Bar Fixing System: for coplanar bars.
  • Straightening, cutting and bending: in one line from the coil.
  • 1000 mm support channel and bridge-type structure: with room for different collection systems.
  • Bi-directional bending plate and brushless cutting motor: for precision and reliability.
  • Digital integration: graphic library, external software and optical barcode reader.

How much does the WG 16 F2 stirrup bender cost?

We do not publish prices online. Every request is handled personally, because the configuration, options and delivery of the WG 16 F2 stirrup bender differ from project to project. This way you receive a quotation that truly fits your production.

What determines the price?

The price of the WG 16 F2 stirrup bender depends among other things on the chosen version, the options and software, transport to your site and lead time. How the machine fits into your existing production also plays a role. That is why we assess every request individually and prepare a quotation that fits your production and planning.
