What is the WG 12 F1 stirrup bender?

The WG 12 F1 is an automatic processing centre from coil in TJK Serecon’s WG range. It straightens, cuts and bends rebar and produces large stirrups, straight from the coil. Special rollers driven by an electric servomotor handle the feeding. This machine can also double-bend the shapes at both ends.

Where a conventional stirrup bender mainly makes stirrups, the F1 is set up for large-scale production of straightened, cut and bent bars as well as stirrups. A 1000 mm support channel for straightening and a bridge-type structure that accommodates different collection systems make it suitable for rebar plants with high and varied volumes.

If you work with heavier wire up to Ø16 mm or coplanar bars, the WG 16 F2 is the larger version.

Who is the WG 12 F1 for?

The WG 12 F1 is made for companies that process large numbers of stirrups and bent bars every day, such as rebar processing plants, rebar fixing companies and precast manufacturers. Stirrups form the transverse reinforcement of beams, columns and ground beams and appear in almost every concrete project. Because the machine works straight from the coil, no separate cutting or straightening step is needed and offcut waste stays low. That makes a stirrup bender worthwhile as soon as volumes become too large for manual bending.

Technical specifications of the WG 12 F1

The WG 12 F1 processes single wire from Ø5 to Ø13 mm and double wire from Ø5 to Ø10 mm. The maximum pulling speed is 110 m/min, the bending speed goes up to 1200°/sec and the maximum bending angle is 180° in both directions. The diagonal reaches up to 2100 mm and average consumption is around 7 kWh. A full overview is available in the Technical specifications table on this page.

What do these specifications mean?

Single wire is the diameter the machine processes at a time; with double wire two wires are bent simultaneously, which increases output at smaller diameters. The pulling speed determines how fast the wire runs through the machine, the bending speed how fast a bend is formed. Together they determine output per hour. The maximum diagonal indicates how large a stirrup can be, and average consumption helps estimate energy costs.

Benefits of the WG 12 F1 stirrup bender

The WG 12 F1 brings several operations together in one line:

  • Straightening, cutting and bending: bars and stirrups from coil in one machine.
  • Two wires at once: for higher output.
  • 1000 mm support channel: for a stable straightening process.
  • Bridge-type structure: with room for different material collection systems.
  • Bi-directional bending plate and brushless cutting motor: for precision and reliability.
  • Digital integration: graphic library, external software and optical barcode reader.

How much does the WG 12 F1 stirrup bender cost?

We do not publish prices online. Every request is handled personally, because the configuration, options and delivery of the WG 12 F1 stirrup bender differ from project to project. This way you receive a quotation that truly fits your production.

What determines the price?

The price of the WG 12 F1 stirrup bender depends among other things on the chosen version, the options and software, transport to your site and lead time. How the machine fits into your existing production also plays a role. That is why we assess every request individually and prepare a quotation that fits your production and planning.
