The HL 2000 is a TJK Serecon pile cage machine for producing reinforcement cages for piles. It makes cages with a variable diameter, with adjustable longitudinal bars, spiral wire and spiral pitch.
A cage machine winds a spiral around the longitudinal bars while the cage rotates and advances, joining spiral and bars into a rigid cage. On the HL 2000 this welding is done manually. The machine can be operated efficiently by a single person and is programmed via an intuitive interface developed for the European market.
Thanks to Grupo Serecon’s engineering, the HL 2000 meets the highest European standards for quality, safety and technical compatibility. If you want automatic welding, choose the HLZ 2000. For piles up to Ø1480 mm there is the HL 1500.
The HL 2000 is made for foundation contractors, rebar plants and precast pile producers that make cages for bored piles and other foundation piles. These cages need to be dimensionally accurate and rigid so they can go into the borehole or formwork without deforming. Machine winding and joining give an even spiral pitch, which takes far more work when tied by hand. A cage machine is therefore worthwhile for anyone who regularly supplies made-to-measure pile cages.
The HL 2000 produces piles with a diameter of 400 to 2000 mm and a length of 12 to 16 metres. The spiral wire ranges from Ø6 to Ø20 mm, the longitudinal bars from Ø16 to Ø40 mm, and the spiral pitch can be set from 20 to 300 mm. The machine travels up to 1800 mm per minute, rotates at up to 5 rpm and has an installed power of 36 kW. All values are in the Technical specifications table on this page.
Pile diameter and pile length determine which cages the machine can make. The spiral wire is wound around the cage, while the longitudinal bars form the main reinforcement along its length. The spiral pitch is the distance between two turns and follows from the pile design. Travel and rotation speed together determine how quickly a cage is finished, and the installed power matters for the electrical connection.
