What is the Wimag WRG / RRG pipe grab?

Wimag pipe grabs lift and move pipes safely with an excavator or crane. The WRG series combines the secure clamping of a mechanical grab with the gentle support of wide lifting bands with wear-resistant covers, ideal for coated or delicate pipes. The RRG models have steel straps for heavier pipes up to 12 tonnes.

Thanks to the integrated mechanism, the grabs open and close automatically when picking up or setting down a pipe, fully mechanically and without manual operation. You set the clamping range quickly with a locking bolt, clearly marked on the grab. Additional adjustable supports increase stability during lifting.

The pipe grabs are made for sewer and pipeline contractors who move concrete pipes, steel pipes, precast rings or shafts, and wherever damage to the pipe must be avoided.
