What is the 3ablock wedge for moulds?

The 3ablock wedge (spie) for moulds precisely positions and firmly secures the parts of a concrete mould, from pouring to striking. Together with the locking pin, it keeps the mould tightly closed.

A correctly tightened wedge prevents play in the mould, and therefore dimensional differences and leaking concrete. After curing, you knock the wedge loose to open the mould.
