The LZZ-4-560 is a wire drawing machine made by the Chinese manufacturer TJK Machinery (Tianjin). It processes wire rod from Ø5.5 to Ø8 mm into cold-drawn wire of Ø3.5 to Ø6 mm, which is wound back into coils.
In wire drawing, the wire is pulled through a series of drawing dies, reducing its diameter a little each time. This happens cold, without heating the steel, so the wire becomes not only thinner but also stronger and more dimensionally accurate. That way you turn standard wire rod into exactly the wire diameter your production needs.
The drawn wire can then be processed further, for example into straight bars on a straightening and cutting machine such as the GT5, or into reinforcement mesh on a mesh welding machine such as the GWC.
The LZZ-4-560 is intended for rebar plants, wire processors and producers of mesh and wire products that want to make their own cold-drawn wire from wire rod. If you use large quantities of wire in different diameters, your own wire drawing machine brings a production step in-house. The drawn wire then feeds straightening and cutting machines, stirrup benders or mesh welding machines. A wire drawing machine is thus the first link in fully in-house wire processing.

The input diameter is the thickness of the wire rod you feed into the machine, the output diameter the thickness of the drawn wire that comes out. The bigger the difference, the more drawing steps are needed. By changing the drawing dies, you choose the final diameter within the machine’s range, so you can produce different wire diameters from one type of wire rod.
