The Sennebogen 2200 HMC is a mobile harbour crane with a lifting capacity of up to 45 tonnes, built on the base of the 2200 lattice boom crane. It is made for loading and unloading smaller ships and for transhipment on inland waterways, with hook, grab or spreader.
The boom reaches up to 37.3 metres. The cab rises quickly and safely to the working position and can be oriented flexibly, so the operator has a good view into the hold. The mobile undercarriage spreads the load over a large support area, providing stability and low ground pressure on the quay.
Sennebogen harbour cranes are made for port operators, stevedores, inland waterway transhipment companies and industrial companies with their own quay. Lifting capacity applies at short radius; in transhipment what matters most is the load the crane handles at long reach, for example up to the far side of a ship. The cab height determines how well the operator can see into the hold. Also check the load-bearing capacity of your quay: the undercarriage and outriggers spread the weight, but the ground pressure must suit the surface.
