The Sennebogen 5500 is a lattice boom crawler crane with a lifting capacity of up to 200 tonnes, in a 180-tonne and a 200-tonne version. It is made for heavy lifting in industry, infrastructure and large construction projects, and was used among other things on a major rail project in the heart of Munich.
With main boom and jib, the 5500 reaches up to 104 metres. 160 kN winches and a 283 kW engine give the crane the power it needs. A ballast support system and self-assembly reduce set-up time. The cab tilts hydraulically up to 20° and can optionally be raised by 2.70 metres.
Sennebogen lattice boom cranes are made for contractors in precast construction, infrastructure, bridge and marine works and the energy sector, and for companies that need to place heavy elements over a long distance. Thanks to the crawler undercarriage, they move around the site, even with a load on the hook. At Van Haut, we look together at which boom length, ballast and winches suit your projects, so you invest neither too heavy nor too light.
The key data of the 5500, according to the Sennebogen brochure:
The maximum lifting capacity applies at the shortest boom and smallest radius. A lattice boom is built up from intermediate sections: the more sections, the longer the boom and the greater the reach. The load chart shows how much the crane can lift safely for each boom length and radius. Also look at the transport dimensions and the weight of the base machine: they determine how many loads are needed to bring the crane to the site.
The 5500 combines reach with lifting power:
We do not publish prices online. Every request is handled personally, because the configuration, options and delivery differ from project to project. This way you receive a quotation that truly fits your work.
The price of a 5500 depends on the boom length and jibs, the winches, the ballast and the options. Transport and assembly on site also play a role, as does lead time.
