What is the Dawson lifting equipment?

When placing sheet piles and piles, the load has to be released after lifting, often at great height. With Dawson release shackles, this is done remotely or from the ground: the ERRS releases the load without anyone going up, and the EGRS releases the load from ground level. This way, nobody has to work under or next to the suspended load.

For moving sheet piles horizontally there is the SHS lifting shoe, and for heavy tubular piles the Pipe Handling Shoe. For very heavy tubular piles up to 100 tonnes, a heavy-duty release shackle exists, often used in offshore foundations and large civil works.

Who is the Dawson lifting equipment for?

The lifting equipment is made for foundation companies, sheet piling contractors, marine and offshore contractors who lift, place and move many sheet piles and piles, and want to increase safety on site.
