What is the Profound VIBRA 5+ vibration monitor?

Piling, vibrating, demolition and construction traffic cause vibrations that can damage buildings and sensitive equipment, or disturb residents. The Profound VIBRA 5+ measures these vibrations accurately, unattended and continuously. You attach the monitor to the building or a mounting plate and switch it on: the measuring directions are determined automatically.

Via a built-in eSim, the VIBRA 5+ sends the peak values in three directions to the Profound portal, where you manage projects remotely, set alarm limits and create automatic reports for your client. When a limit is exceeded, you receive an alarm immediately, and a built-in alarm light can also show it on site. An internal battery and memory bridge power or network interruptions.

The VIBRA 5+ is made for foundation companies, contractors, demolition firms, engineering consultants and municipalities that need to monitor vibrations during piling and construction, especially next to monuments, homes or sensitive installations.

What do these specifications mean?

The monitor records peak particle velocity, peak acceleration and frequency in three directions. You compare these values with the limits of the SBR guideline or DIN 4150 for damage to buildings and nuisance to people. The transmission interval and alarm limits are set via the portal.
