With the 3ablock 60 to 30 concrete block mould, you cast transition blocks that narrow from 60 cm to 30 cm wide. This lets you connect a wall of 60 cm blocks to a wall of 30 cm blocks, without a step or loose infill. Useful where a heavy retaining wall turns into a lighter partition.
The block is 180 cm long and 60 cm high, weighs about 1,347 kg and fits the blocks of the 180 x 60 x 60 and 180 x 30 x 60 series. Like all 3ablock moulds, it is made of steel in a European factory for intensive use: with frequent use, a mould lasts at least 10 years. With studs on top and recesses underneath, the blocks fit onto other 3ablock blocks of the same size.
The 60 to 30 is made for producers and contractors who build storage bays and walls with blocks of different thicknesses and want a smooth, stable transition.

The size of the mould determines the size and weight of the block. A 160 x 80 x 80 cm block weighs about 2.4 tonnes, so plan for a telehandler or crane with sufficient lifting capacity.
