With the 3ablock Arc concrete block mould, you cast concrete blocks with an angle that you specify when ordering. That angle determines the size of the arch you build with the blocks. Arches of aligned blocks have been built since ancient times and remain just as stable today.
The mould has a second use: you make blocks for the base of a retaining wall, with a sloped foot at an angle of your choice. The wall then leans back slightly and becomes more stable. The mould measures 160 x 80 x 80 cm. Like all 3ablock moulds, it is made of steel in a European factory for intensive use: with frequent use, a mould lasts at least 10 years. With studs on top and recesses underneath, the blocks fit onto other 3ablock blocks of the same size.
The Arc is made for producers and contractors building special structures, such as arches, passages and gateways, and for anyone who wants to build retaining walls with a sloped base for extra stability.
The key data of the Arc concrete block mould, according to 3ablock:
The size of the mould determines the size and weight of the block. A 160 x 80 x 80 cm block weighs about 2.4 tonnes, so plan for a telehandler or crane with sufficient lifting capacity. The weight of the mould itself counts when you move or tilt it. If you combine different shapes of the same size, the blocks fit together perfectly.
