The Robot 60 is TJK Serecon’s heaviest automatic bending centre, with a double bi-directional bending station. It bends bars up to Ø50 mm at both ends with maximum efficiency.
One bending unit is fixed and the other is mobile, so a bar is bent on both sides in a single setup. Lengths are freely programmable, and rotation angles and components are positioned automatically. That makes the Robot 60 suitable for complex shapes in heavy, high-strength reinforcing steel.
If you work with bars up to Ø36 mm, the Robot 45 is an alternative.
The Robot 60 is aimed at rebar plants and companies processing heavy bars with bends at both ends, for example for bridges, tunnels, foundations and industrial construction. Large diameters and complex shapes are common there, and every handling step with a heavy bar takes time and care. By bending both ends in one setup, the number of handling steps and the risk of errors are kept low. A bending centre is therefore especially worthwhile for large volumes and repeated shapes.
The Robot 60 processes bars up to Ø50 mm and bends bi-directionally at a maximum speed of 72°/sec. Both bending units have a clamping jaw, and ejector cylinders and pneumatically controlled mandrels remove the tools from the piece without effort. The maximum bar diameter determines which bars the machine can bend; heavier diameters require more bending force. The bending speed in degrees per second determines how quickly a bend is formed and therefore has a direct impact on cycle time. Because there are two bending units, both ends are processed in one cycle. The automatic bar aligner and the motorised roller conveyor reduce the time between two bars.
