The MB 6000 is a semi-automatic mesh bending machine from TJK Serecon for reinforcement mesh up to 6 metres wide. It bends up to 40 bars of Ø12 mm at once, with a tensile strength of up to 650 N/mm².
A mesh bending machine folds welded mesh into the required shape, for example into angles or U-shapes. The MB 6000 is controlled electronically and hydraulically, and bending angles are programmed sequentially, so a series of bends is carried out one after another. Semi-automatic means the operator positions the mesh, after which the machine carries out the programmed bends automatically.
For mesh up to 3 metres wide there is the MB 3000. You produce the mesh itself with the GWC mesh welding machine.
The MB 6000 is intended for mesh producers, rebar plants and precast companies that fold welded mesh into shape, for example for edge beams, foundation footings or walls. Machine bending gives consistent angles across the full width, which is hard to achieve by hand with many bars at once. Sequential programming makes repeated shapes fast and consistent. A mesh bending machine is therefore the perfect complement to a mesh welding machine.
The MB 6000 has a panel width of 6.0 m and a bending capacity from Ø3 to Ø12 mm, with up to 40 bars per bend. The minimum pitch is 50 mm, the minimum stirrup length 120 mm, and installed power is 11 kW. You will find all values in the Technical specifications table on this page.
Panel width determines how wide a mesh can be when bent in one go. Bending capacity and the maximum number of bars indicate how much steel the machine bends at once. The minimum pitch is the smallest distance between two bars, and the minimum stirrup length the shortest possible fold. Installed power matters for the electrical connection.
