The Pronal Smartshore is inflatable trench shoring: a pneumatic protective shield that supports the trench walls and protects workers against collapse. A module consists of two inflatable cushions that you connect with struts. You place the cushions vertically or horizontally in the trench and inflate them with a compressor to a maximum of 1 bar.
The cushions are made of three-dimensional, double-walled technical fabric with a rubber coating, hot vulcanised. They resist impacts, abrasion and tearing. Each cushion has a self-sealing quick coupling, a safety valve against overpressure and six handling straps. After use, you deflate the cushions, fold them and store them for the next project.
The Smartshore is made for utility companies, sewer contractors and maintenance crews who need to secure a shallow trench quickly, for example for repairs, emergency interventions or works in town. Because no machine is needed, it also works where an excavator cannot go.

The installation depth is the maximum trench depth the system protects safely. The working width is the clear space between the plates, the trench width the total width from outside to outside. The clearance under the strut or spindle (hc) determines how large the pipes are that you can slide underneath. The recommended excavator tells you which machine can install and pull the system.
