What is the SBH S260 Quick Shore?

The SBH S260 Quick Shore is trench shoring for shallow trenches up to 2 metres. The system consists of aluminium rails 1.50 or 2.10 metres long, with infinitely adjustable hydraulic struts in between. The struts come in four lengths, so you match the shoring to the width of your trench.

Because the complete construction weighs only 33 to 40 kg, one person installs the S260 without an excavator or lifting gear. You position the rails against the trench wall, place the struts and tension them hydraulically: the trench is secured in three steps. That makes the S260 ideal for short jobs where a heavy trench box is not needed.

Who is the S260 for?

SBH developed the S260 mainly for laying and repairing house connections and gas and water pipes. Besides construction companies, landscapers, gardening companies and local authority contractors also use the system, because it is quick to set up and remove and fits in a van.

Technical specifications of the S260

The key data of the S260, according to SBH:

  • Maximum installation depth: 2.00 m
  • Rail length: 1.50 or 2.10 m, aluminium
  • Working width: 0.45 to 1.60 m
  • Trench width: 0.49 to 1.64 m
  • Clearance under the strut (hc): 0.56 m
  • Struts: hydraulic, infinitely adjustable, in 4 lengths
  • Weight per unit: 33 to 40 kg

What do these specifications mean?

The installation depth is the maximum trench depth the system protects safely. The working width is the clear space between the plates, the trench width the total width from outside to outside. The clearance under the strut or spindle (hc) determines how large the pipes are that you can slide underneath. The recommended excavator tells you which machine can install and pull the system.

Benefits of the S260 quick shore

The S260 at a glance:

  • No excavator needed: one person installs the shoring by hand.
  • Light: 33 to 40 kg per unit.
  • Fast: position, place and tension in three steps.
  • Infinitely adjustable: hydraulic struts in four lengths.
  • Ideal for connections: house connections, gas and water pipes.

How much does a quick shore cost?

We do not publish prices online. Every request is handled personally, because the configuration, options and delivery differ from project to project. This way you receive a quotation that truly fits your work.

What determines the price?

The price of a S260 depends on the plate length and height, the struts or spindles and extension pieces, any top elements and transport to the site. For rental, the duration of your project also plays a role. We put the system together based on your trench depth and width.
