A bending machine bends rebar into the angle or shape you need for reinforcement: hooks, stirrups, right angles and bends. The Simpedil bending machines are made by Italian manufacturer Simpedil, which specialises in site machines for rebar. You place the bar on the turntable, select the angle and the machine bends at the press of the foot pedal.
The P range has six models in the EVO version, from the compact P34 to the heavy P74. Each machine has a monoblock frame of spheroidal cast iron that absorbs vibration and lasts for years. Smaller diameters can be bent two or three bars at a time, which greatly increases output on site.
The Simpedil bending machines are made for shell construction contractors, rebar fixers and precast companies that bend their own reinforcement to size, on site or in the workshop. The P34 and P38 are handy for smaller sites, the P56 and P74 for anyone processing heavy bars every day.

The stronger the steel, the smaller the diameter a machine can bend. The values above apply to steel of 65 kg/mm²; for high-grade steel of 85 kg/mm², the maximum diameter is a few millimetres lower each time, for example Ø 28 mm instead of Ø 30 mm on the P34. The number of bends per minute determines how fast you work.
