What is the SBH S100 lightweight shoring?

The SBH S100 is lightweight steel shoring for small to medium-sized trenches and for working with light construction machinery. The smooth-running struts are flexibly mounted in the plate profile, so you assemble the box quickly and install it easily with the place-and-adjust method: excavate first, then place the box in the trench.

The plates are 60 mm thick and come in lengths of 2.00 to 3.50 metres, with a height of 1.60 or 2.00 metres. With top plates of 0.60 or 1.00 metre, you extend the system for deeper trenches, up to 3 metres. This way you use the same shoring for shallow connections and for somewhat deeper pipes.

Who is the S100 for?

The S100 is made for contractors who lay utility lines, house connections and cables using a mobile excavator of 9 to 13 tonnes. If you only have the occasional project, you can also rent the S100.

Technical specifications of the S100

The key data of the S100, according to SBH:

  • Maximum installation depth: 3.00 m
  • Trench width: 0.66 to 3.21 m
  • Working width: 0.53 to 3.08 m
  • Clearance under the strut (hc): 0.94 m
  • Plate length: 2.00 / 2.50 / 3.00 / 3.50 m
  • Plate height: 1.60 or 2.00 m, top plate 0.60 or 1.00 m
  • Plate thickness: 60 mm
  • Excavator: mobile excavator of 9 to 13 t

What do these specifications mean?

The installation depth is the maximum trench depth the system protects safely. The working width is the clear space between the plates, the trench width the total width from outside to outside. The clearance under the strut or spindle (hc) determines how large the pipes are that you can slide underneath. The recommended excavator tells you which machine can install and pull the system.

Benefits of the S100 lightweight shoring

The S100 at a glance:

  • Quick assembly: smooth-running, flexibly mounted struts.
  • Easy to install: with the place-and-adjust method.
  • Extendable: top plates for deeper trenches.
  • Light machine is enough: mobile excavator of 9 to 13 t.
  • Versatile: utility lines, house connections and cables.

How much does a lightweight shoring cost?

We do not publish prices online. Every request is handled personally, because the configuration, options and delivery differ from project to project. This way you receive a quotation that truly fits your work, for purchase or for rental.

What determines the price?

The price of a S100 depends on the plate length and height, the struts or spindles and extension pieces, any top elements and transport to the site. For rental, the duration of your project also plays a role. We put the system together based on your trench depth and width.
