What is the Flex Chamber?
The Flex Chamber is shoring for trenches in an urban environment with many utility lines. It consists of a steel frame that you place in the trench with a mini excavator. You then slide timber beams into the frame, only where no crossing pipes run.
This keeps the trench wall supported while cables and pipes simply stay in place. The Flex Chamber can be assembled by hand and the frames can be connected to each other.
Applications of the Flex Chamber
- Trenches in town with many crossing utility lines
- Working around existing cables and pipes without moving them
- Assembled by hand, placed with a mini excavator
- Frames can be connected for longer trenches
