What is the SBH S790 single slide rail?

The SBH S790 is single slide rail shoring: the shoring plates slide into one guide of the slide rail. With it you shore trenches up to a maximum of 3.80 metres deep. The slide rails are braced by rolling struts, which, as with all rolling strut systems, you can place at staggered heights to pitch long pipes in.

With a soil support you achieve even greater clearance heights, and with a clamping device you can even create strut-free pits. With corner slide rails and shoring plates you close a pit all around, for three or four-sided shored pits.

Who is the S790 for?

The S790 is mainly intended for medium-sized trenches with high clearances and for environments where settlement is a risk, such as next to roads, buildings and existing pipes. It suits sewer and pipeline contractors with mobile or crawler excavators of 18 to 30 tonnes.

Technical specifications of the S790

The key data of the S790, according to SBH:

  • Maximum installation depth: up to 3.80 m
  • Trench width: 1.68 to 6.68 m
  • Working width: 1.24 to 6.24 m
  • Clearance under the rolling strut (hc): 2.46 m
  • Plate length: 2.00 to 6.00 m, plate height 2.40 m
  • Excavator: mobile or crawler excavator of 18 to 30 t

What do these specifications mean?

The installation depth is the maximum trench depth the system protects safely. The working width is the clear space between the plates, the trench width the total width from outside to outside. The clearance under the strut or spindle (hc) determines how large the pipes are that you can slide underneath. The recommended excavator tells you which machine can install and pull the system.

Benefits of the S790 slide rail shoring

The S790 at a glance:

  • High clearance: 2.46 m, more with soil support.
  • Long pipes: rolling struts at staggered heights.
  • Little settlement: suitable next to roads and buildings.
  • Strut-free pits: with a clamping device.
  • Shored all around: with corner slide rails.

How much does a slide rail shoring cost?

We do not publish prices online. Every request is handled personally, because the configuration, options and delivery differ from project to project. This way you receive a quotation that truly fits your work, for purchase or for rental.

What determines the price?

The price of a S790 depends on the plate length and height, the struts or spindles and extension pieces, any top elements and transport to the site. For rental, the duration of your project also plays a role. We put the system together based on your trench depth and width.
